March 23 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm£8
Join us for a screening of TOO LATE TO DIE YOUNG, winner of the Leopard for Best Direction last year at Locarno!
D. Dominga Sotomayor Castillo // Chile/Brazil/Argentina/Netherlands/Qatar 2018
110m // 15+
Drawing on inspiration from personal experiences, Dominga Sotomayor Castillo’s third feature is set in 1990s Chile following the fall of Pinochet’s regime. Young families liberated from the fascist regime want to build a new way of existence away from the excess of urban living. What awaits is a summer of coming age for different generations, mirrored by the coming of age of a country.
In partnership with Cinemaattic.
The screening will be followed by a discussion.
