A chance encounter between two indigenous womxn, based on a transformative experience in director Elle-Máijá Tailfeather’s life. A story of resilience, THE BODY REMEMBERS WHEN THE WORLD BROKE OPEN is an intimate and complex portrayal of the aftermath of domestic abuse.
